Showroom Administrator (Cabinet Solutions)

Come and join the Cabinet Solutions team.

Located in North East Calgary, Cabinet Solutions provides pre-assembled cabinetry to home owners and small contractors.

As the Showroom Administrator you will support the success of the Cabinet Solutions team by:

  • Greeting customers both in person and over the phone
  • Providing a welcoming environment in our showroom
  • Responding to telephone inquiries and forwarding them to other staff as needed
  • Processing payments
  • Entering cabinet orders into supplier database
  • Verifying order accuracy
  • Month end balancing – reconciling inventory within the accounting system

Key attributes you will bring to this position are:

  • A friendly, positive approach to customer service
  • A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • An aptitude for numbers and the ability to ready numeric reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An ability to manage varying work loads and the initiative to take on additional tasks as time allows

Cabinet Estimator (Legacy Kitchens)

Come and join the Legacy Kitchens team.

As a key member of the Technical Services department, you will use your strong computer skills and exceptional attention to detail to provide professional support to our sales divisions by:

  • Developing base plans from blueprints
  • Determining pricing for jobs based on draft design and cabinetry specifications
  • Revising cabinetry designs and adjusting prices
  • Preparing and checking orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Preparing working drawings in 20/20
  • Assist in developing and preparing CAD drawings for design and installation

Cabinet Estimating experience and or an Architectural Technology diploma would be an asset. Familiarity with 20/20, AutoCAD or other design software preferred but not required. We will provide on-the-job training to ensure your success in this role.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:30 – 4:00.

Cabinet Service Technician (Legacy Kitchens)

Put your carpentry / cabinet making skills to work on the Legacy team.

We have an opportunity for a Service Technician to perform service and warranty work on cabinetry in new homes in the Calgary area. This fast-paced job is perfect for someone who has an exceptional commitment to customer service and thrives on having lots of variety in their day.

The successful candidate will have cabinetmaking or installation experience and will be a great trouble shooter. The work requires lifting and carrying tools and products weighing up to 50 lbs. (You bring your tools, we will help you maintain them.) We will provide a company vehicle and cell phone.

Our operations group has a strong team environment and we will give you ongoing on-the- job training to ensure your success in this role.

As a member of our Service Technician team, you will:

  • Replace parts.
  • Touch up or repair cabinetry using waxes, lacquer and spraying.
  • Install cabinetry, hardware, toekick, mouldings.
  • Install or replace laminate countertop.

This is a full-time position and the hours are: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with an occasional Saturday rotation.
